Recently, Pandrol fastening solutions have been used to successfully inaugurate two metro lines in Mumbai, India.
The first of the two metro lines is Line 2A, connecting Dahisar East and Andheri West and the line is approximately 18.6km long. While Line 7 now connects Andheri East and Dahisar East and is around 16.5km long.
The new metro additions are part of a wider development project to improve infrastructure, ease urban travel and enable wider access to healthcare in India’s financial capital. The Indian Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Ji Modi, inaugurated the Mumbai Metro lines in January of this year.
