Walter has been award the EcoVadis Gold Medal for Sustainability Excellence – this is the third consecutive Gold for the company.
This award puts Walter in the top 5% of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis worldwide, demonstrating how the company is committed to sustainability, as well as having an open and honest supply chain.
Of the four key areas which are assessed under EcoVadis, Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, Walter performed strongest in the Environment category. The company also highlights that it scored higher in the Labour and Human Rights category compared to the previous year.
