Thanks to this instrumented screw for monitoring fastening loads, Texys serves customers ranging from screw manufacturers to OEMs in many industries, ensuring real time measurement of tightening loads. Texys has effectively mastered the entire value chain, from fitting strain gauges inside the screw head, to signal conditioning and real time wireless transmission of values.
In addition to its ease of use on the customer's premises, TM-Fast® is presented as a more accurate and more capable solution than a torque wrench. This technology also makes it possible to optimise screw sizing and everything that goes with it. The benefits are not confined to improved preventive maintenance.
An enhancement to the wireless version is already under development with promising results. It will enable the information contained in the screw to be consulted from a greater distance during maintenance operations. It will thus facilitate the work carried out by operators, depending on the tension of the assembly.
