Tappex is supporting the UK Ventilator Challenge project through its continued work with medical OEMs by supplying plastic components made on its CNC machines.
The Ventilator project is a consortium of UK industrial, technology and engineering businesses that have come together to produce medical ventilators. Companies in the consortium have now received formal orders from the Government for in excess of 15,000 units.
The Ventilator Challenge UK consortium is committed to playing its role in delivering both medical ventilator designs to the required specifications and aid the delivery of additional ventilators to the NHS. The companies involved have dedicated many of their workforces to the Ventilator project.
Tappex was also approached by a fellow consortium member for installation equipment, and was able to loan the company two Flexiarm installation tools.
