ENGEL is continuing to improve its position in the global EcoVadis sustainability ranking, with the injection moulding machine manufacturer achieving Platinum status. The company now ranks among the top 1% of the world’s most sustainable companies.
EcoVadis is a provider of business sustainability ratings, including more than 100,000 companies in its assessment. The EcoVadis rating covers wide range of ESG topics, including environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

In recent years, ENGEL has consistently improved its rating from Silver, to Gold, to platinum. This is primarily due to the combination of science-based greenhouse gas reduction targets and the large numbers of climate protection campaigns already implemented both at ENGEL locations and in the company’s solutions portfolio. This year, ENGEL announced its commitment to the science-based target initiative, meaning the company is completely transparent in its sustainability efforts – verifiable efforts which are based on scientific criteria.
