Weicon, a manufacturer of adhesives and sealants, has developed a special epoxy resin, Weicon WL, system specially designed for coating surfaces in the industrial sector which are prone to heavy use.
The two-component Weicon WL is a liquid, sprayable or spreadable system that can be applied with a brush. It has a high adhesive strength, especially on stainless steel, is ceramic-filled and also resistant to chemicals. Thanks to its long pot life, Weicon WL can be used for applications with higher ambient temperatures or for larger surfaces.
Additionally, the coating compound can be used in combination with other plastic metal – epoxy resin systems which consist of a resin and hardener component – types for a protective system build-up.
