Power through stubborn fixings 22 November 2024

Designed specifically for stubborn and high torque crankshaft pulley fixings, Laser Tools has introduced a set of three counter-weighted ½ inch drive sockets. These are engineered for removing extremely tight fixings – the added weight reduces impact loss, allowing more effective torque delivery from impact guns.

The high strength and mass make the socket very rigid; therefore less torque from the impact gun is wasted in socket distortion, with torque going straight to the fastener. Suitable for high torque applications with a range of vehicles, these sockets are available in three sizes, including 17mm, 19mm and 21mm with a single-hex profile.

Made from durable chrome-molybdenum steel, these sockets offer impact resistance and a long service life. The set is also supplied in a sturdy blow-mould case that fits neatly in tool boxes.
