For the fourth year in a row, the Hilti Group has achieved gold status in EcoVadis’ assessment of sustainability.
EcoVadis particularly highlights Hilti's commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), which aims to significantly reduce the company's carbon footprint by 2032 and reach net-zero emissions by 2050.
"Achieving EcoVadis gold status for the fourth year in a row is proof of our long-term commitment to sustainability, even here in Sweden," says Josephine Hantoft-Sigurdsson, head of sustainability at Hilti. "The demand for solutions that are not only technologically superior, but also contribute to a more sustainable industry, is growing steadily. By combining our innovative products with a dedicated focus on reducing both our own and our customers' carbon footprint, Hilti plays a central role in the transformation of the construction industry.”
