Bülte Plastics is offering hex head slotted screws with two options - full nylon screws or plastomet (plastic with metal inserts) screws.
The nylon products are available in sizes M4, M5, M6, M8 and M10 with lengths between 6mm - 80mm. The standard material is natural nylon (polyamide 6.6) and on request these screws can be offered in PVDF, PE, PC or PP and manufactured in all RAL colours.
The plastomet products are available in sizes M4, M5 and M6 with lengths between 8mm - 30mm. The standard material is black polyamide 6 with steel inserts. Brass or stainless steel is available on request where minimum quantities will apply.
The slotted hex head offers two choices of tightening, the hexagon external drive with a spanner or socket and the slot with a screwdriver. The extension under the head provides a larger bearing surface to spread the load and preserve the work piece, avoiding the need for a separate washer.
