Since 1997 GLOMA® has been a specialist in surface treatments, including the painting of screws and other small accessories for industry.
Through a young, motivated and dynamic team, GLOMA® has been able to assure both quick and efficient services, combining top quality and continuous innovation. “Our constant pursuit of quality, the strict control of finishing, and our professional and rigorous customer service, has enabled us to establish ourselves a trusted partner,” explains Andreia Mota, manager at GLOMA.
A key focus for the company is screw lacquering, which gives the product the highest protection against oxidation in harsh environments. In addition, the company also looks to combine lacquer resistance with aesthetics to create the ‘perfect marriage’. “If the objective of the customer is to hide the screw then we can paint it the same colour as the surrounding. If the goal is to highlight the screw, we can paint it a contrasting colour,” explains Andreia. “Regardless of the colour or texture we can always guarantee the same quality – even for smaller quantities.”
GLOMA underlines that its commitment to quality begins by selecting the right partner for the raw material. “We are proud to have an exclusive agency agreement with the renowned German company Huelsemann, and we represent its paints in Iberia,” points out Andreia. “Our experience, supported by the quality of Huelsemann products, allows us to guarantee salt resistance up to 15 years according to EN ISO 9227: Class 4-Medium; achieve very satisfactory results regarding impact resistance according to EN ISO 6272 – 1: 2011; and paint adhesion certified to EN ISO 2409: 2013.”
Andreia concludes: “We are a small Portuguese company, but we are unique in this field, thanks to our installed capacity that is ready to support customers’ needs. We are in a constant process of technical evolution and we combine this with the latest robotic automation. Thanks to our 20+ years of experience in the Iberian market, we are now seeking to expand our services to other European countries… challenge us!”
