JAKOB Antriebstechnik has expanded its range of shaft couplings and now offers the KPP metal bellows coupling to meet the ever-increasing demands for higher performance in various industry sectors.
The nominal torque for these new couplings is over 600Nm and the maximum torque is around 1,200Nm. Resilient enough to withstand operating speeds of up to 23,000 rpm, Jakob insists its couplings have extremely high dynamic loads. Operational safety of the couplings is also guaranteed in a temperature range from -40°C to 200°C.
A backlash-free plug-in principle of the hub allows simple blind assembly, allowing for easy installation even in restrictive areas. Jakob also offers customised special solutions, special hubs, individual solutions for the metal bellows or alternative material designs, which are possible on request.
