Adhesives supplier Intertronics has partnered with Scigrip, a brand of IPS Adhesives, to distribute its methyl methacrylate structural adhesives (MMAs) in the UK. MMAs are fast curing, two-part adhesives that cure on mix at room temperature to form resilient bonds and are ideal for structural bonding of metals, plastics, and composites in industries like marine, transportation, rail, automotive, and many others.

MMA technology bridges a gap between epoxy and polyurethane adhesives, providing benefits such as toughness, fatigue resistance, and high peel strength while maintaining high lap sheer performance. They also exhibit excellent surface wetting and adhesion to a wide range of substrates. This makes the technology useful for structural bonding of metals, plastics, and composites.
