Bolting joint integrity assurance and online pipeline repair are the themes for services and training specialist Hydratight, an Enerpac brand, on stand 1H59 at Offshore Europe 2019. In addition to featuring the latest developments in its industry leading IDMS (Integrity Data Management System) bolting software, the Hydratight stand will include details of ECITB mechanical joint integrity and with on-site machining training.
As part of its combined product and service offering for offshore operators, hydraulic tool specialists, Enerpac, will also present its range of high performance bolting torque wrenches, hydraulic cylinders, pumps and subsea tensioning tools for subsea and topside projects, in Aberdeen from 3rd – 6th September. New tools on its stand will include pipeline flange alignment, spreading and cutting tools, and new LG-Series lock grip pullers.
Online pipeline repair
For the first time, upstream and downstream plant operators have a single source for permanent and temporary pipe and flange repairs, avoiding unscheduled disruption to plant processing. The online repair service includes the MORSEAL leak sealing clamp, MorSafe flange clamp for online bolt renewal while under operating pressure, and composite repair solutions.
Mechanical joint integrity training
Hydratight is a leading supplier of ECITB (Engineering Construction Industry Training Board) training courses for joint integrity and on-site machining. Available at its Aberdeen, Morpeth and Darlaston training centres, courses include mechanical joint integrity for hand torqued and hydraulically tensioned bolted connections and bolted joint integrity for flanges and clamps. In addition to basic pipe-cutting and end prepping, Hydratight also offers advanced pipe cutting, end prepping and weld excavation.
IDMS bolting integrity software
Hydratight will be demonstrating its Integrity Data Management System (IDMS) for managing bolted joints from cradle to grave at Offshore Europe. IDMS Bolting Integrity Software provides a complete package for implementing and managing bolted connections in topside, subsea and downstream processing plant. The software is used by wide range of offshore and onshore companies worldwide often interfacing with maintenance, construction and commissioning management systems.
High performance tools
Accurate, easy to use bolting, pipeline and flange handling are the trademark of Enerpac’s hydraulic tools. In addition to low profile, hydraulic torque wrenches, AquaMax Subsea Tensioners, pumps and cylinders, the company will be exhibiting a new range of pipe flange and cutting tools, together with the LG-Series lock grip pullers.
These will include a secure grip mechanical flange spreader, and hydraulic flange spreading wedge, as well as machining tools for external and internal flange facing and pipe cutting. The LG-Series mechanical and hydraulic lock-grip pullers are designed to provide an easy solution for the problem of removing shaft-mounted parts on plant equipment. The puller’s self-centring closing system allows all jaws to move simultaneously, making it easy for a single operator to mount the puller and to perform the application.
