US–based Tectorius® has announced the Tec–Kote™ 7000 Series of speciality coatings – a family of coating products that have been formulated with engineers in mind to include performance refinements and qualities needed when extreme reduction in friction in a hostile environment is required.
The Tec–Kote™ Series is perfect for when machine components such as hinges, strikers, bolts, studs, pivots, springs, shafts, and adjusting wedges need durable low or fixed coefficients of friction. Unlike most coatings, the Tec–Kote 7000 Series can withstand exposure to solvents and elevated temperatures for extended periods of time.
Grades are available with various hardness, durability and flexibility. Corrosion protection is an added benefit to Tec–Kote products and is available in various degrees to suit customers’ applications.
