The range consists of a ‘Universal’ all-in-one resin and a ‘High Load’ resin for tougher applications.
The ‘Universal’ is an all-round general purpose polyester styrene-free resin is suitable for a variety of applications, including threaded rods for sizes M6 – M20, canopies, bicycle racks, hand rails, guard rails, safety barriers, Juliet balconies, façades, racking, machinery and satellite dishes. This resin has a number of features that enable working with medium loads on threaded rods, overhead applications as well as dry, wet and flooded holes. It is also suitable for concrete, cracked concrete, solid masonry and hollow masonry, certified by an ETA Option 7.
The Scell-it UK ‘High Load’ vinylester resin has been specially designed to conquer demanding construction challenges. Like its ‘Universal’ counterpart, this resin can be used on concrete, cracked concrete, solid masonry and hollow masonry, as well as concrete rebar. ‘High load’ has many advantages, including use for mediu or high loads, use in overhead applications, the resin is suitable for dry, wet and flooded holes, offers fast curing and has a 100 year working life. The resin can also be used in challenging evironments thanks to its seismic category C1 and Option 1 ETA certification for uncracked and cracked concrete.
Manufactured in the UK, both these resins are styrene-free formulations to minimise health and safety risks while reducing odour. For convenience, each cartridge includes two mixer nozzles for a seamless application. Available in 420ml cartridges, these high performance resins provide the ideal solution for a wide range of construction projects as part of a complete package available from Scell-it UK which also supplies a range of resin applicator guns – in both hand powered and battery models; a full range of studs materials and lengths; and a range of mesh sleeves to suit every application. By consolidating all necessary components into a single order – and from the same supplier – Scell-it UK ensure precise specification and compatibility.
Comprehensive technical support with digital passports
Scell-it UK offers complete technical support for both new resins. New EU regulations will soon require all construction materials to have a Digital Passport to aid in sustainability and enhance efficiency.
These are the first Scell-it UK products to have online digital passports containing detailed technical data sheets, European Technical Assessments (ETAs), installation instructions and safety data sheets – all readily accessible through a QR code.
