In the thermal insulation fixing sector, Akifix SpA is redefining standards with Easier Strong – two innovative plugs designed to guarantee superior performance, maximum hold, as well as quick and versatile installation.
Entered into this year’s Route to Fastener Innovation competition taking place at Fastener Fair Global in March, Easier Strong represents an enhanced evolution of the Easier range – initially created to overcome the limits of traditional plugs with a compact and modular design. Easier enables optimised storage and assembly without compromising resistance, and thermal insulation, and is made of high performance nylon to ensure elasticity, durability and perfect adherence to any surface. The simplified installation system, featuring a modular washer and an anti-thermal bridge sealing clip, guarantees quick and effective fixing, reducing installation time and costs. Additionally, the possibility of both hammer and screw installation makes it ideal for any construction site.
Easier Strong also has a reinforced head and a unique patented anti-rotation system. In addition, mechanical tests conducted at accredited laboratories have shown the entire range to be efficient in terms of application versatility in various base supports, with static tensile test results reaching over 150kg. Tests conducted at certification bodies have demonstrated the entire Easier range excels in versatility and hold across various application surfaces, with a holding capacity of up to 150kg.
Akifix highlights: “With Easier and Easier Strong, we are introducing a revolutionary solution that combines innovation, efficiency and safety. The plugs are a breakthrough that transforms the way we think about fixing in the thermal insulation sector, offering unparalleled performance and unprecedented ease of installation. Easier is not just a plug – it is the future of thermal coat fastening.”
