When it comes to fastening and office technology, Novus Dahle, under its Novus brand, has offered high-quality and durable fastening products since 1950. Now the company has joined the CAS cross-brand battery alliance initiated by Metabo as the 36th partner and is equipping its range of battery-powered tackers with the CAS battery system.
“The concept and technology of CAS and Metabo convinced us straight away. As an alliance partner, we give our customers access to a whole world of more than 300 power tools, including many special machines, all of which can be operated with a battery. There is a suitable battery-operated machine for every application, and our customers benefit enormously from this,” says Frank Indenkämpen, managing director of Novus Dahle GmbH.

Handy helpers
Novus Dahle is bringing two battery-operated Novus staplers onto the market based on CAS battery technology – the J-550 specifically for fabric work such as upholstery, stage construction or furniture construction and the J-551 for fastening foil in insulation work, attic conversions or trade fair construction.
This new cordless tacker range combines speed, precision, ergonomics and durability. With the continuous firing function, three shots can be fired per second. The long stapler nose and a distance stop ensure precise work, and thanks to the depth stop, the clamps can be sunk optimally, regardless of the hardness of the surface. Thanks to the ergonomic handle shape and the optimal centre of gravity, the cordless staple guns lie safely and comfortably in the hand.
“Our new tools can produce over 3,000 shots with an 18-volt battery pack with 2.0 amp hours. This means that these cordless tackers are superior to almost all corded tackers in terms of performance and at the same time more flexible and comfortable,” explains Frank.
Fine wire staples A and H can be used with the J-550 and flat wire staples D and G with the J-551, with brackets ranging from 6mm to 14mm long. Both devices also process nails E with a length of 16mm. Additionally, the two current models are just the beginning; the battery-powered tacker range is set to be further expanded.
