The new fischer DuoHM cavity wall anchor, thanks to its innovative two component technology, increases flexibility and efficiency when fastening in panel building materials.
Suitable for use in panel building materials commonly used in drywall and interior construction, the DuoHM covers all common building material thicknesses from 9.5mm – 30mm with one anchor length and is also available in three different diameters. This means that a wide range of fastening tasks can be carried out with just one product – and, fischer highlights, with 50% less installation time than with conventional panel anchors.
An internal metric thread in the dowel allows the screw to be loosened and screwed back in several times. During processing, the optimised nylon anti-rotation device ensures correct assembly while also preventing damage to the building material. The glass fibre reinforced dowel tip guarantees high stability when tightening. Once installed, the narrow dowel edge ensures the fastening behind the attachment is no longer visible.
The key feature of DuoHM is a metal sleeve which opens up behind the building material and presses itself against the back wall of the panel, at the same time, the nylon base body knots itself into the building material. Thanks to this unique two component technology, the DuoHM meets high load requirements in panel building materials.
The application requires only a few steps – simply insert the DuoHM into the drill hole and use a standard cordless screwdriver to install the screw directly through the attachment. As soon as the metal sleeve has pressed completely against the plate and the tightening torque is clearly noticeable, the installation has been completed correctly. Additional setting tools are not required.
