Simpson Strong-Tie, a leader in engineered structural connectors and building solutions, has introduced the Simpson Strong-Tie® SCLC stair cassette ledger connector, a code-listed solution for safer, more efficient installation of preassembled stair cassettes to floor cassette headers.
Installed on the floor cassette header in the factory using common nails, the SCLC is jobsite-ready for stair cassettes to be lowered onto the connector and then quickly fastened with Strong-Drive® SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws, helping reduce on-site labour costs and keep time-sensitive projects on schedule.

The SCLC can be installed in conjunction with Simpson’s LSCZ stair stringer connector and is galvanised for protection against corrosion. Custom fastener tabs provide greater strength and stiffness per screw, and the solution offers ample fit-up tolerance for precise alignment.
