Makita releases new two new corded drills 18 November 2024

Designed for improved drilling performance in a wide variety of materials, Makita has released two new corded drills to its already extensive line of corded hand tools. The new drills are ideal for users working near a power source or who prefer a corded drill.

Included in the new release is the ½ inch Drill – equipped with a powerful motor and an all-metal chuck, as well as the ½ inch Drill with Keyless Chuck – which features a keyless chuck for faster accessory changes.

Both of the new additions feature a 5.5 AMP motor, giving the tools power to offer pros in a variety of industries improved drilling performance in many materials. These versatile drills offer drilling capacities of ½ inch in steel and 1to 3/16 inch in wood, with a variable speed up to 3,000 RPM.

With an in-line handle design, these tools offer the user better accuracy, while the all-ball bearing offers durability and longer tool life. A recessed lock-on button and reversing switch enables easy control for the user.
