Beck has recently stated that its patented LIGNOLOC® line of fasteners specially designed for wood-to-wood and panel-to-wood connections have received approval under IAPMO UES UEL-5065.
This certification confirms the suitability of LIGNOLOC® for wood-to-wood and panel-to-wood connections, covering all available diameters and lengths, including versions with and without heads. The withdrawal and shear resistance of LIGNOLOC® fasteners meet the requirements of ASTM D1761-20, the standard for mechanical fasteners in wood. With this certification, LIGNOLOC® complies with the stringent US standards for structural integrity and sustainability, supporting a robust, adhesive and metal-free construction approach.
