Atlas has announced its new product, the STR wrench, an electronic production wrench designed to be versatile and flexible for the hard-to-reach places. The wrench ensures high-quality tightening with high accuracy and can be used in a multitude of applications.
New technologies are changing the production processes and the most critical applications require more accurate torque and angle delivery. Issues can lead to consequences in final user safety, so reliability of the complete tightening process is important. With its new product, Atlas Copco Group ensures the “right tightening first time”.
The new wrench design is compact and short, enabling easier use in hard-to-reach places. Additionally, new controls can be easily used with the same hand that operates the wrench. STR has been designed with a new rotating smartHEAD, ensuring the wrench display is always visible, even in restrictive areas. The STR wrench works in connected mode via a PF6000 controller. Also, the product comes with the option of an integrated controller.
