New features to the App now make it easier and faster to choose and use fischer fastening solutions.
fischer has expanded the App to include many applications. This means that all common fastening tasks in private households are now included. Furthermore, the fastening specialist has integrated new product suggestions into the mobile advice.
After successful product research, the innovative wall shelf scanner now makes it easier and quicker to complete purchase at local DIY stores. To do this, users simply select the ‘find on shelf’ function and pan the smartphone camera over the wall shelf. The right products for the previously selected application are then displayed on the shelf with a green frame around the EAN code. Product alternatives for the fastening project are also displayed in orange. The ‘find on shelf’ option can also be accessed directly in the navigation at the end of the product search.
Another function in the DIY App is the barcode scanner. To use this, simply point the camera at the desired product. The barcode scanner automatically records the barcode of the item on the shelf and displays further information about the product.
As a further feature, the DIY App now contains exciting news and tips especially for do-it-yourselfers. This means that end consumers have access to news and information worth reading, anytime and anywhere. The relaunch in the new fischer corporate design now also ensures an eye-catching and convincing appearance for pleasant and attractive shopping experiences and increased success.
The new DIY app is available in the App Store for iOS devices and Play Store for Android devices. fischer also provides its trading partners with an iFrame variant for integration into their online shop and other digital channels.
