Eleven awards in top design competitions 11 July 2024

Hilti’s Nuron range of tools have been recognised for their design and functionality. Competing in the power tool category, the tools received seven Red Dot and four iF Design Awards, achieving a total eleven awards at the two prestigious 2024 competitions.

Nuron's 22 volt cordless platform supports over 100 tools, including drill drivers, saws, grinders, concrete vibrators and rotary and demolition hammers. These tools represent significant advancements in how construction and trade professionals accomplish their work by replacing traditional corded and gas-powered tools.

"Enhancing customer value and experience is at the core of everything we do," says Stephan Niehaus, global head of corporate product design at Hilti. "Receiving the Red Dot and iF Design Awards is not only a great honor but also a reflection of our dedication to pushing the boundaries of design and ergonomics in providing the most user-friendly tools in the market."

"As we celebrate these achievements, it's important to recognise the role of customer feedback in shaping our products," states Ewald Kaluscha, global vice-president of marketing for the power tools and accessories business unit, Hilti. "We innovate by focusing on our customers' needs, and these awards validate our strategic direction, inspiring us to keep advancing on this path.”

These awards, from respected institutions such as the Red Dot and iF Design Awards, not only underscore Hilti's commitment to excellence but also suggest future developments that could further benefit the construction industry.
