The CROSSFIX® substructure system for the rear ventilated facade (VHF) from EJOT® has won the DETAIL Product Award 2020 – recognising innovative building products, systems and material.
The submissions were assessed in a two stage selection process after the products submitted were evaluated in particular according to the criteria of design, innovative character, functionality, sustainability and integration capability.
"We are very happy to have received the DETAIL Product Award," says Mark Dreyer, EJOT sales engineer. "Winning the award shows that we are on the right track with our CROSSFIX® product development and that the system, with its individual freedom of design and in terms of energy efficiency, has its finger on the pulse of the times for ventilated façade construction."
EJOT says CROSSFIX is the first stainless steel substructure that can be used for horizontal and vertical support profiles. CROSSFIX increases flexibility, facilitates assembly, saves precious time and reduces your storage costs. The CROSSFIX console is made of 100% stainless steel and thus significantly reduces the thermal bridge surcharge in the system.
With the CROSSFIX console, EJOT says it provides a flexible solution that can be used vertically and horizontally, no matter of whether it is a fixed point or sliding point installation. This eliminates the need to install different consoles for vertical or horizontal use, which was previously the case.
