Concrete screws for sustainable construction 08 April 2025

During Fastener Fair Global TOGE Dübel GmbH & Co KG will showcase its range of taxonomy compliant concrete screws, including seven tested models that can be completely dismantled without residue and reintegrated into the technical cycle through steel recycling.

With the EU taxonomy changing how and what can be built through its EU-wide regulatory framework, TOGE is positioning itself as a pioneer in high-quality and EU taxonomy compliant fastening solutions for concrete. The regulatory framework, which is already in effect, is divided into six key areas in which products and buildings must prove their compliance.

To allow for the clean separation of building components reversible screw connections, such as those from TOGE, offer significant advantages over adhesive bonds or bolt anchors, which remain embedded in the structure. “By manufacturing in Germany, we not only meet the highest technical quality standards but also comply with the central ecological and social standards required by the EU framework,” emphasises Ingo Kuschel, managing director at TOGE. “Our anchor free concrete screws may not make up the largest volume share of a building, but they play an important role in ensuring that installations such as ceiling suspensions or anchorings can be easily dismantled during renovations or at the end of the building’s lifecycle – even after decades.”

The verification of TOGE’s taxonomy compliance has been entrusted to CircularSkills GmbH.
