Initially designed for specific use with insulated ceilings, the new screw has an extended screw length, which can span larger insulation thicknesses, and provides a fast and secure solution for attaching appliances and other objects to insulated, concrete ceilings. According to the company, its new M8 connection thread also now makes the BTS6 E long an ideal choice for applications on insulated, or dry wall suspended ceilings.
The company says it has added five items to its range of this popular long concrete screw, including the long-shank concrete screw, now available not only with an M6, but also with an M8 connection thread.
The long concrete BTS6 E screw with the M8 connection thread is ETA approved for use with cracked and non-cracked concrete, it is CE marked, meets fire resistance class R120 at an anchoring depth of 50mm, and also meets VdS guidelines, which makes it suitable for installing fire protection sprinkler systems.
