Click-Torque Lock range for precise operation 01 July 2025

Building on its predecessor, the Click-Torque wrenches which offer a robust release mechanism when the set torque value is reached, Wera now presents its Click-Torque Lock wrenches.

With a clue in the name, ‘lock’ means the torque function can be deactivated, so the tools can be used for working without torque – offering time savings for the user. Equipped with a ‘work-stop-click’ function which also contributed to the name, the tool gives both an audible and tactile signal which is riggered every time the set torque is reached. At the click, the screwdriving process should be stopped to avoid applying too much force. These Click-Torque wrenches will also sound an extra click when setting the torque, giving audible signal when the correct torque is reached.

Torque value is set by turning the handle, and is displayed on two scales. The main scale shows the selected Nm or lbf ft value within the tightening range, while the fine scale adjusts the set value to normative pre-set values. A clear sound is made for each value displayed on the scale. This audible and tactile feedback indicates when the desired value has been reached, and the wrench can be locked.

The new Click-Torque Lock wrenches are suitable for clockwise operation, with the R/L versions are suitable for clockwise and counterclockwise operation. The ratchet mechanism is fine-toothed with 45 teeth, and they have a small lever on the ratchet head to switch from tightening to loosening screw connections.
