The steering stem nut is located beneath the top yoke, and this six tooth castellated socket is specifically designed to facilitate the accurate loosening, tightening, and torquing of the steering head bearing before installing the top yoke.
This ½ inch drive socket is an essential tool for servicing the steering head bearings (also known as head race or headstock bearings) on various Triumph motorcycle models, and is equivalent to the OEM reference T3880023.
Applications include Triumph Bonneville Bobber, T120, Daytona 675, Speed Triple R and S, Sprint GT and ST, and Triumph Tiger models. It is important to employ this socket in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended torque settings.
