Laser Tools, a UK-based producer of specialist tools, has introduced a toothed socket for Scania transmissions, suitable for loosening and tightening of the retaining nut on the transmission main shaft.

The 4-tooth castellated socket is a ¾ inch drive, with an outer diameter of 92mm, inner diameter 72mm, skirt inner diameter 81mm and height 76mm. The socket is black phosphate coated for corrosion resistance.
