IPS Adhesives, a global manufacturer of structural and surfacing adhesive products, has launched the SCIGRIP SG800 adhesive, specifically formulated to meet the exacting specifications of the transportation industry.
SG800 provides a primerless metal bond, requiring little to no surface preparation by the user. It also has excellent flow characteristics and stays put with no sagging or dripping during product application. Featuring excellent fatigue and impact resistance – especially at high temperatures, the new adhesive also performs well in industry specific tests for lap shear strength and heat resistance, including ASTM D3163 and PACCAR’s CMT038.

The availability of formulations with different working times (4 – 16 minutes) provides enough flexibility for a variety of transportation and industrial assembly operations. SG800 is available in 490ml cartridges, as well as in bulk.
