Bulten has signed an FSP (Full Service Provider) contract for the supply of fasteners for a new European electric vehicle programme with a global automotive manufacturer - an existing customer of the company. The contract value is approximately SEK 75 million annually at full capacity.
“We are pleased to gain renewed confidence from an existing customer. It is through our knowledge and experience as a fastener manufacturer and FSP provider, together with a strong sustainability offer, that makes this possible,” says Markus Baum, chief commercial officer of Bulten.
Bulten will deliver ‘best in class’ levels of innovative sustainable solutions, and work with this customer to achieve as low carbon footprint as possible for the products that will be delivered to this program. Deliveries to the programme are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2023, and to reach full capacity in the second quarter of 2024. The new vehicle programme has an expected lifecycle of seven years.
