The ideal workstation in aircraft hangars 24 April 2023

Through its new WB 625 workbench, Stahlwille is providing those who service and maintain planes with several specialist tool sets and the ample storage space needed by professionals in the aviation industry.

STAHLWILLE states the company has partnered with airlines all over the world for many years and is experienced in the know-how of the requirements in the hangers and on the airfield. Aircraft technicians have to be ready for action quickly with an extensive set of tools. The STAHLWILLE WB 625 workbench is equipped accordingly, with seven full-extension drawers and a 115cm wide work surface made of resilient birch plywood at a working height of 104cm, all on four oil and acid-resistant smooth-running wheels with thread guards and two locking brakes.

The new workbench is equipped with a wide range of pre-configured tool sets, ideally suited to individual aircraft types and the corresponding maintenance schedules. The sets fit neatly in the full-extension drawers of the workbench and, thanks to the Tool Control System (TCS), you can immediately identify when a part of the set has not been returned to protect against lost parts.

WB 625 also possesses a QuickRelease mechanism, all parts are reliably locked away without taking up extra space or making it difficult to work in tight spaces. Frequently used tools in the sets have been duplicated to allow two technicians to work on the same workbench.
