Chicago Brand UK explains that patented advanced cam technology allows the socket or wrench to bite on to the sides of the bolt head even if it’s rounded, rusted, or otherwise damaged. The tools also function as a convenient bolt starter as they hold the bolt for easy installation or removal in hard to reach areas – the more torque a user applies, the harder the cams grab.
