NORMA Group issued Platinum Supplier status by GM 30 August 2017

NORMA Group, a global market leader in engineered joining technology, has been issued Platinum Supplier Status 2016 for its site in St. Clair, Michigan, by General Motors’ (GM) business unit Customer Care and Aftersales. The award is being presented to the site for its delivery reliability.

“Absolutely reliable products of high-quality, that is what our company has long been known for,” said Werner Deggim, CEO of NORMA Group. “But it is also very important to deliver the products to our customers on time. This creates trust and long-term business relationships. Therefore, we are extremely pleased to receive this honor from GM.”

The site in St. Clair has been supplying GM with quick connectors for more than 20 years. In calendar year 2016, 100% of the shipments reached GM on time. The site has therefore now been issued the Platinum Supplier Status 2016.

NORMA Group employs around 150 people in St. Clair. The plant produces plastic joining products, such as quick connectors.
