MacDermid to showcase surface finishing solutions 30 May 2018

MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions (MEIS) a division of MacDermid Performance Solutions, will present its unrivaled solutions for the surface finishing industry at SUR/FIN 2018 from 4th – 6thJune 2018.

The company will demonstrate its world class quality assurance programmes for consistent, high performing coatings, including ZinKlad®and DecoKlad. Visitors to booth 407 can also explore MacDermid Enthone’s leading business processes, such as Six Sigma, designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of surface finishing manufacturing in a wide range of sectors, such as automotive, electronics and aerospace.

MacDermid Enthone will also demonstrate its expertise in high performance surface finishing solutions with its leading quality assurance programmes. The company will highlight the recent ISO certification of the ZinKlad programme, which ensures high-quality, anti-corrosion surface finishing for a range of automotive applications, from powertrain to safety critical components.

Meeting stringent automotive manufacturing standards, DecoKlad has been developed to tackle the challenges for reliable and globally consistent decorative coatings for interior and exterior automotive applications. Through its base of approved applicators and robust auditing standards, the DecoKlad and ZinKlad programmes ensure that the same coating performance is available worldwide. 

As part of a series of seminars at the conference, Lammert de Boer, global director - ZinKlad, DecoKlad & XMAPP at MacDermid Enthone, will host a presentation titled: “Consistent Global Quality Assured in an OEM World,” on Monday 4thJune at 11am.

MEIS will further demonstrate its innovative R&D efforts through its regulatory compliant solutions, including evolve®, a hexavalent chromium-free process for REACH compliant Plating-on Plastics (POP) in automotive, sanitary and domestic applications, and NiKlad®Velocity, an industry leading, high-speed electroless plating process which conforms to the End of Life Vehicle (ELV) Directive. A high phosphorus nickel alloy coating for stability and brightness in functional applications, NiKlad Velocity combines a superior hardness and wear resistance with good anti-corrosion.

In addition, the company will showcase its plating technologies, including Enviralloy®and ZINCROLYTE® zinc alloy solutions, designed for applications where components require the highest performance with the lowest deposit thickness. Visitors to the booth can also discover Envirozin® and Kenlevel®zinc plating systems, which have been extensively proven to provide consistent corrosion resistance in automotive parts, such as fasteners and brake components, as well as applications in the construction and electronics industries.

Experts will also be available on the booth to provide information on the company’s unique service offering, including its TechXpert™ black belt certified field technicians, and Six Sigma, a system designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of all business processes, from manufacturing to quality management.
