Kommerling introduces new improved automotive adhesives 12 July 2019

Kommerling UK has announced that its new adhesive, Korapop 257 is now available to the UK market following a robust testing procedure carried out in collaboration with one of the country's leading truck and trailer manufacturers. The one-component sealant has been developed in response to market demand for improved sealant performance in the areas of weather and moisture resistance.

"The majority of caravans, trailers and vans are constructed with a predominantly white body. As these vehicles travel along the roads tiny particles of dust and dirt are trapped by the surface tension of the sealants on the bodywork joints. However, Korapop 257 has been developed to deliver a high-performance sealant that greatly reduces the retention and collection of dirt particles on the vehicle bodywork,” commented Ian Little, key account manager, engineering adhesives EIMEA, for Kommerling.

The sealant is available in cartridge and sachet format and is solvent free. It is suitable for use with a variety of substrates including galvanised steel, aluminium alloys, duro and thermoplastics, glass, wood and other coated surfaces. Customers seeking more information or wishing to order the product should contact Kommerling's UK distributor, Albert Jagger.

Korapop 257 is a white coloured, silane modified polymer that can also be used in industrial assembly and construction due to its high cold and heat resistance and excellent moisture and weather resistance.
