Bossard showcases at InnoTrans 17 September 2014

Provider of product solutions and services for industrial fastening and assembly systems, The Bossard Group, will exhibiting this year at InnoTrans 2014, from 23rd – 26th September.

Bossard’s mounting solutions for lightweight construction and services for leaner production processes will be presented to the trade for the first time. The bigHead® range from the Bossard group comprises of 400 standard versions, which are recommended for use whenever traditional fasteners are pushing the borders or if the application depends on weight-optimised production.

Lightweight construction materials such as carbon, aluminium, and optical fibres are trendsetters in the industries, but they also present a special challenge for fastening systems. Leading brands such as bigHead®, Huck®, Nord-Lock®, PEM® and Southco®, as well as Bossard’s ecosyn® are particularly suitable for use in railway technologies as they save costs already during assembly, increase reliability and safety during operation and significantly reduce maintenance costs. The components of the Bossard Group are mainly used in the interior, in the cockpit and for the seats.

Bossard’s SmartBin logistics system will also be presented on Stand 220, Hall 8.2, together with the world premiere of SmartLabel - an intelligent label that displays product and ordering information that allows repeat orders to be placed directly at the place of consumption.

The SmartBin flex logistics system is used for automatic material management with C-parts in storage, the production line and directly at the workplace. Stock monitoring, ordering and stockpiling is done with weighing systems, making it for companies with standardised production processes.

The company will also be presenting at Speakers’ Corner on the topic: "Light & Lean: Innovative fastening technology and logistics solutions for traffic engineering." Bossard Group, alongside bighead and Stadler rail AG, will be presenting sophisticated fastening solutions for lightweight construction and services for leaner production processes in the transport sector. The one-hour presentation will be from 13:30 in English on 23rd September.
